Chevy Volt Spy Video - Slow Motion

Chevy Volt spotted while filming the Transformers 2 movie. See my other videos for full speed video without audio. Some interesting details about this particular vehicle (not necessarily the production version)... -It's a fiberglass body. -It has a unique show car paint. -It has oversized brake disks made of cardboard. -It's on a Malibu body, with a Malibu interior, and Malibu drive train. -Wheels are much larger than stock. -Tires probably aren't low rolling resistance. -The emblems on the car (bowtie and Volt logo) are oversized for maximum advertisement effect. -The Volt will supposedly be a regular car in the movie (not a Transformers or Autobot). Anything else you notice about the Volt in this video that seems "revealing" that I didn't cover in the annotations, please post in comments! I'll add them and give you credit. Thanks for watching. The book details multiple examples of painting scenarios from touch-ups to frame-off paint jobs. There are numerous examples of cars painted by the author and others in their own garages, just like most poor car junkies would do. Great examples of equipment, paint products, proper use, safety concerns, etc. He really leaves no doubts as to what you need to know in order to pull off your paint project. I have a car torn down to paint and as I do it, this is the book that will be my guide.

It does not waste space on things you don't need. I especially liked the troubleshooting chapter. That came in very handy. One thing that helped is that there are plenty of pictures. There is a photo for every step of each technique. You can really see how it is done. If you are looking to get a tool that will make it easy to do any kind of custom paint work, this is the book for you. It covers flames, tribal graphics, even airbrush artwork. It tells the tools and materials you need for each each kind of artwork. Best $16.00 I ever spent.

As a fan book for the Monster Garage series, forget it, as the show only gets a passing mention.

Customer Review: This book is a good guide to counter some of the others out there that are entirely too oriented toward those with access to professional facilities. Few of the shade tree restorers among us have ready access to the full gamut of spray booths, high end abrasive blasting, two-stage compressors, etc.--you get the idea. This book is more focused on doing things economically. Following the guidelines in this book, you might not get the results that you would in a pro shop, but you will also avoid the easily recommended 'get all the best toys' mentality. One item of note: because this book is out of Great Britain, the product recommendations are not directly relatable to U.S. products / product lines, but comparable products are recognizable.
